Official runs for club members
Congleton Harriers Monday Club runs are based on an approximately four mile run, in summer this is generally off road (trail shoes) and in winter on road (off and on road runs broadly in line with the clock changes). The routes we use are all pre mapped and on our web site within the run schedule, they are also listed on Heja the system our members use for runners to book onto these runs. Click for more details.
Routes of 7-8 miles. Off road in summer and road in winter. Meet at 7pm at Congleton Leisure Centre
Thursday Interval Training
Thursday night Interval Training from Congleton Tennis Club, meeting normally at 7pm throughout the year. The runs are focused on speed and stamina training.
Other runs organised by Congleton Harriers
Congleton Harriers Sunday Rundays
Off road Sunday morning runs organised by Phil Dawson
Tuesday 6pm social off road runs
The run is for the slower and “returning from injury” runner. The distance is generally between 5 to 6.5 mile over 60 to 80 minutes depending on terrain.
The Harriers provide pacers for the first Congleton parkrun in each month. Organised by Chris Moss. Look out for email and Facebook requests for support.
